IPL 2020 Outlook

Indy Energy will hold a community forum on Sat., Jan. 25th at North Independence Mid-Continent Public Library at 10:30 am on the 2020 outlook for Independence Power and Light.
Independence City Manager Zach Walker will present.
IPL is facing several major decisions including closure of the Blue Valley power plant, potential reuse of the site, IPL staffing reductions and how to replace older combustion turbines in the future. The city also will be selecting an outside firm to run IPL day-to-day operations for 18 to 36 months.
The public is invited.
This was be the 11th community forum Indy Energy has organized since 2014.
