IndyEnergy produces original content and reporting regarding the city-owned Independence Power and Light. Links to documents, meeting video and other content are provided within stories to provide readers additional information.

IndyEnergy accepts no gifts, compensation or advertising funds. This is volunteer civic journalism project.

IndyEnergy will correct information when brought to our attention making sure to do so as quickly as possible because we are an online publication.

Ownership and Funding Info

IndyEnergy operates as a Missouri non-profit (IndyEnergy Issues). It accepts no outside funding and it charges nothing for programs and information provided to the community. The non-profit does not engage in funding.
